When submitting manuscripts to Palmetto Reader, please adhere to the following:
Manuscript specifications:
- Neatly printed on 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper
- Unbound
- Double Spaced
- Margins of 1 inch on each side
- Numbered Pages
Cover Letters must include the following:
- Author and/or representing agent's contact information, including address, phone number, and an email address
- A brief synopsis of the manuscript's content
- The intended audience for the manuscript
- The author's professional and writing background
- Any other pertinent information the author wishes to share
A confirmation e-mail will be sent upon reception of the manuscript.
Palmetto Reader does not require an author to have a literary agent for submissions.

Agreement to Terms and Conditions
By making a submission, you agree to the following terms:
Palmetto Reader is under no obligation to provide any communication regarding the status of a submission. Upon review of submitted materials, Palmetto Reader will notify author and/or representing agent as to its conclusions. If time period from reception of manuscript eclipses 12 weeks, the author and/or representing agent is justified to contact Palmetto Reader. In such case, please send inquiries, including subject heading with Title and Author's name, to submissions@palmettoreader.com, and you will be contacted shortly.
Palmetto Reader is under no obligation to return submitted materials. Please refrain from sending any material you wish returned.
